Who We Are

OUR STORY

We Are Professionals

After entering the U.S. Army in 1979 and completing the Army Armors course my interest in firearms began. After serving more that 41 years in the U.S. Army (Reserves and Active Duty) and 30 years in the U.S. Secret Service, and several combat tours, I looked for a retirement vocation that I loved and after further gunsmith training, I opened my gunsmithing business. Army Gunworks, LLC is a registered with Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

I have an old savage model 110 chambered in .308 I love this rifle for sentimental reasons. After years of being banged around in the deer woods the best group I could get was about ten inches at 100 yards. To say the least I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn and I certainly could not take it deer hunting any more. I thought my favorite deer rifle had become a museum piece never to be used again. The rifle sat in my gun safe for about ten years when one day my FFL introduced me to Jeff at Army Gun Works. After explaining my issues to Jeff, he told me he could probably fix the issues. He worked on the stock, glass bedded the barrel, installed steel posts, and professionally mounted the scope. The results were amazing. The rifle now shoots sub-MOA. I am looking forward to using my old friend this deer season and someday passing it along to my grandchildren. Thanks, Jeff, for the great quality and craftsmanship! I now have a functional family heirloom. I highly recommend Army Gun Works!
